Required safety topics for water safety were discussed, as well as adequate sun screen protection for their children, as well as themselves. It was SIZZLING HOT, so our fun romp around Loose Park was abbreviated. (Yet one more thing for Au Pairs to get used to…..Kansas City summers :))
The Station guys and gals were great to provide some great safety tips and show us around the fire station. None of the Au Pairs had ever been to fire stations in their own country, so it was a new experience for them.
The National Cultural Care Au Pair Training in Boston provided Local Child Care Consultants the opportunity to advance their knowledge and resources to serve Families and Au Pairs.
Families met in March for a Fun Family Activity Day. Families made family flags representing their family and their Au Pair and we enjoyed a Pot Luck and some other fun activities. Thanks for coming out, everyone!
